HDScms is HiBrow Dragon Sites – Content Management System (CMS). This has been designed and developed with the end user in mind. We have used a non restrictive approach, in the design of the CMS. This is unlike many other similar products you see on the internet. This approach enables you to tailor your content to the audience you already know, customise your images, text, and there location within your skin. The other element that sets the HDScms apart is its modular structure. This is to enable more varied and unique content. Although the HDScms has many other features, its key advantage over the others is multi-domain support.
What is a Skin?
The skin is your identity, we help you choose and/or design a skin that best represents your business, club and audience. A skin is designed to work with the HDScms, it is coded to enable the CMS to add your pictures, text and other content. Once a skin has been added to your site, there is no need for any special software. Text and Images are added the same was producing a Microsoft Word Document. Your site can have many skins added to it, which you can use as you wish. This will give your business a feeling movement and progression.
What is a Module?
A module is part of the HDScms that controls the content on the site. Each module is designed to do something specific. From the basic Text/HTML: module which is used to add text and pictures, to the eCommerce store module, for those wishing to sell items through their site. This enables us to work with our clients and build a module for their specific requirements.
What is Multi-Domain Support?
Multi-Domain support is for those wishing increase the overall market. For example a .co.uk domain is identifiable as a United Kingdom domain, were as a .eu is for Europe. This also enables one site to support both secure and non-secure sites, with the need for additional hosting. This of course is extremely important for the eCommerce sites, with online payment facilities.
